In the bleak days of the late 1930’s and with WW2 imminent, an English Industrialist plays host to an alliance of influential businessmen, politicians, senior military figures and one mystery guest. An enigmatic Austrian aristocrat outlines a sinister and a far reaching plan that will see a defeated Germany and financially ruined British Empire rise from the ashes to once again rule the World. Financed by the spoils of war, disciples of this new world order will infiltrate industry, government , commerce and the military.
Seven decades later and a simmering division is building within the population of the United Kingdom . The populist and divisive leader of the GBLP Clive Bousefield supported by senior business leaders and members of the Government, , is whipping up hatred towards the European Union . A proliferation in terrorist attacks on the UK mainland gifts an opportunity for the anti-European camp to condemn the UK Prime Minister David Milner, and further divide the electorate over EU immigration policies.
In what will be a conclusive and bold move to seize power the clandestine brotherhood plan a world shattering event, the assassination of the UK Premier and the President of the United States. They commission the services of covert journeyman, a killer to not only carry out the heinous act but to also detonate a dirty bomb in London.
A man of many aliases, tortured and weary of life in the shadows, he finds love for the first time, however, he struggles to vision a route to a peaceful and legitimate future.
At GCHQ Cheltenham England, rising star graduate Grace Wells teams up with the ‘old guard’ ex field agent Jack Parker. With help from their team they unravel a series of encrypted messages, naming the traitors and detailing their sinister plans.
What follows is a life and death hunt across 4 continents to find the assassin, Jack encounters an old nemesis , the IRA, whilst Grace is inducted into the dark and deadly business of operating in the shadows. Grace cannot fight her instincts, tipped over the edge by the death of her friends at the hands of ruthless killers, she exercises her right of passage with an automatic pistol.
With only minutes to spare Grace locates the hired killer, however, the outcome, is not as she predicted. The elusive assassin driven by a personal vendetta delivers a twist to the proceedings. The two World leaders are unharmed whilst two of traitors lie dead.
